1. Supporting role
AI in Colonela helps organise, summarise, identify connections and prepare drafts. It does not provide legal services, replace a lawyer or decide on procedural steps.
2. Mandatory human review
Every material output is a working draft. The client, supervisor or lawyer must verify facts, sources, deadlines and the proposed course of action before relying on it or sending it to a third party.
3. Prohibited use
Colonela must not be used to fabricate, alter or destroy evidence, obstruct proceedings, pressure witnesses or bypass access rules. The agent should refuse such requests and point to a safe next step.
4. Corrections and traceability
An incorrect or incomplete output is corrected by a new labelled version or a follow-up message, not by rewriting history. Users can always ask the supervisor for review and explanation.
